I wanna meet your mom!

...and your cousin... and your sister's dentist's best friend from highschool...

Let me explain.

So far in my journey as a musician, I've learned a lot. I've learned that music is this magical tool that can help you see the world, connect with others, grow as a human being, and dance with friendly strangers. It can make you laugh with abandon and cry...also with abandon. I've heard tales that if you do it right, music can even cause you to time travel:) Music has taught me a lot about myself. And a big thing I've learned is that one of my all-time favorite things to do is to travel town-to-town and play banjo in other people's living rooms.

Which is where you come in.

As in, do you have a living room? How about some friends? Say, between 10 and 40 of them?

Great! Then, I should totally come by sometime and throw a concert at your house.

Don't have a living room, but you have an auntie in Mississippi who does? Me and your auntie should probably be friends.

Don't have 10 music-loving friends in your town, but your co-worker's grandson does, along with a big backyard in upstate New York? Put me in touch!

I'm planning a moderately epic house show tour this summer, and I want to meet you and all your people. So if you or your lovely ones happen to live in one of the following states, we should be in touch.

States McKain will likely be visiting in just a few short months:

  • Washington

  • Oregon

  • California

  • Arizona

  • New Mexico

  • Texas

  • Louisiana

  • Arkansas

  • Mississippi

  • Georgia

  • Tennessee

  • Kentucky

  • North Carolina

  • South Carolina

  • Virginia

  • West Virginia

  • Maryland

  • Ohio

  • Pennsylvania

  • New York

  • Massachussetts

  • Vermont

  • New Hampshire

  • Maine

So hit me up, humans! If you or someone you know would be excited about hosting a night of music, please send me an email at contactmac@mckainlakey.com.

I'm looking forward to seeing you and spending some sweet music-filled time together!

Warmly,

Your dear friend McKain
