9/24 Class Summary

Summary:

-We went over the chord changes on Banjo Pickin’ Girl, discussed classroom expectations, and began learning Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss on the FIDDLE!

Technical Skills:

-How to hold the bow (Make a bunny)
-How to hold the fiddle (45 degree angle from the body, don’t collapse wrist)
-Rocking the bow!

Practice Goals:

-Practice our new bowing technique
-Work on the 1st phrase of Fly Around My Pretty Little Miss
-Extra Bonus Life Points: If you nail the first phrase, try and see how far you can get learning by ear.
-Work on playing guitar back-up for FAMPLM by ear. **Remember B part starts on the D chord!
